So, about this potential name change…

Someone recently suggested dropping the “Project” and keeping only “18:15,” as people might remember the numbers better if they're the only thing to remember.

However, it’s still numbers, so that may not solve the problem. One possible way around this issue is to restyle it by spelling out the numbers, so people actually have to read it, and it sticks better.

As a reminder, those numbers are a reference to Proverbs 18:15, “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” This is the heartbeat of the newsletter—helping Christians grow in knowledge.

So, another name idea inspired by this verse is “The Wise Ear.” I think this one has the potential to provoke curiosity and be more memorable. It also lends itself to incorporating something of a mascot.

This idea may also help readers better recall the content of the verse instead of only the reference.

Granted, I could still incorporate a mascot (or two!) even with one of the other ideas.

A final option is simply to align the newsletter with my YouTube brand and call it “Faith News Brief.” This gets away from the explicit Proverbs 18:15 connection, but succinctly describes what the newsletter is about.

Since you’re a committed reader, I value your input, and I’d love to know what you think. “In an abundance of counselors there is safety” (Proverbs 11:14).

Would you take a moment to vote here and share your thoughts?

Thank you!
